What is Slow Fashion?

I was inspired to write this blog post by a recent newspaper article I read, highlighting the growing global trend of “Slow Fashion”.

Although I’d never heard the term before I read the story, it soon became apparent to me that Slow Fashion was a concept I’d always been passionate about and the very foundation upon which I built Floozy. Slow Fashion is about buying fashion pieces that will last for more than one season, it champions the use of high quality fabrics such as silk, cashmere and leather that will wear well.
